What issues should be noted when installing solar lighting in residential communities?

With the advancement of urbanization, residential communities have sprung up like mushrooms after rain, providing the public with more comfortable, clean and safe living spaces. Along with the successive completion of these communities, related supporting facilities, especially the road lighting projects both inside and outside the communities, have also been placed on an important agenda, aiming to further enhance the quality of life for residents.

The roads within the community include main roads, community roads, group roads, and alleyways between houses, etc. They respectively undertake different traffic functions. For instance, the main roads are mainly used to connect the internal and external traffic of the community; while the alleyways between houses are mainly for bicycles and pedestrians, which are small paths leading to the front doors of each household or each unit. The widths of these roads also vary. Main roads are usually 20 to 30 meters wide, while the alleyways between houses are only about 2.5 to 3 meters wide. The differences in width and function determine the differentiation of their corresponding lighting schemes.

The main roads can adopt solar street lamps with higher power and brightness to facilitate the passage of vehicles and pedestrians. For the roads between houses, solar garden lamps with elegant designs, moderate power and soft light can be chosen to create a warm atmosphere and add a unique touch of elegance to the community.

The roads surrounding the residential area usually also require the design and implementation of  street lamps lighting projects. First, it needs to meet the basic lighting requirements, with the brightness evenly distributed to avoid uneven shadows or blind spots in lighting and ensure the safety of walking at night. Second, it needs to play a guiding role, helping vehicles and pedestrians traveling at night to identify the direction of the road and the location of entrances and exits through bright lights. The street lamps around the residential area need to have good anti-glare performance to avoid visual interference to drivers and pedestrians and improve the safety of night travel.

The roads around the community are equipped with the Blue Carbon Solar Street Light Gain light 2.0. The light source is 50W with a color temperature of 4000K, providing a natural white light that is soft and natural, close to natural light, without causing any glare, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere, which is suitable for residential environments. At the same time, it adopts LED technology, effectively saving electricity and reducing light pollution.

For real estate developers, the use of solar lights not only saves installation and maintenance costs (no need to lay wires, easy installation, maintenance-free, with a lifespan of up to 30 years), but also eliminates a large amount of electricity expenses. (Solar power generation, no need to connect to the city power grid, zero electricity expenses for life.)
